The deceased came to Oregon in 1915 and had lived most of the time since on the Paulson ranch in the Chehalem Center district. From there he moved to a place near Sheridan about a year ago.
He leaves a widow, Betsy, two sons, Forrest of Newberg and Allyn of Oregon City, four daughters, Nina Otis, Sheridan, Clara Snail, Omro, Wisconsin, Violet Shires, Scappoose, and Alma Mikkonen, Portland, also 19 grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday from the Hodson Chapel in this city, with Rev. H. G. Crocker officiating. Interment was in the Hillcrest Cemetery.
