She was born March 6, 1925, in Waterford to Walter Ash and Ida Young Ash. She was a homemaker and a member of the Bethlehem Church of the Lord Jesus Christ. She was the widow of H.D. Redding.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at the Bethlehem Church of the Lord Jesus Christ. Burial will be in the Bethlehem Methodist Cemetery in Potts Camp. Holly Springs Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include five daughters, Montie Laverne Hunsucker of Ripley, Flossie Skelton of Holly Springs, Elaine Richards of Cordova, Tenn., Nancy Kennedy of Olive Branch and Brenda Skelton of Amory; two sisters, Corrine Evans of Potts Camp and Clara Barber of Holly Springs; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
