Hazel M. Hingley died Dec. 30, 2000, at age 78. A private service will be held.
Mrs. Hingley was born March 3, 1922, in Chicago. Her maiden name was Johnson. She was raised in Denver and lived there until moving to Portland in 1980. She was a homemaker. In 1940, she married Frank Hingley; he died in 1999.
Survivors include her son, Noel; daughter Karen Gardner; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Interment will be in Pleasant View Cemetery in Oregon City. Arrangements by Peake Memorial Chapel.
