OCALA - Charlie A. Bridges, 97, a retired furniture salesman, died Monday, March 1, 2004, at Palm Garden of Ocala.
A native of Dalton, GA., he moved here from South Florida in 1950. He was a member of the Church of the Nazarene and former member of Mt Carmel Baptist Church in Lake City.
Survivors include sons Donald Bridges, Lake City, Harold Bridges, Lake Wales, Gene Bridges, Ocala; daughter, Marsha L. Bishop, Cape Coral; step-daughter, Josephine Fulbright, Easley, S. C.; step-son, Roy C. DeSha, Nashville, Tenn.; sister, Mabel Howard, DeBary, 24 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his three wives, Lula Mae Bridges; Dorothy Bridges and Mary Bridges.
