The Otsego Farmer, Cooperstown, NY, Friday, August 2, 1901 ~ Obituary ~ Menzo Hoke died at his home on the Lake road, just above Five-Mile Point, Sunday, after an illness of a month's duration. Death was caused by paralysis. Mr. Hoke was 46 years of age, and was born on the farm where he died. Besides his wife, he leaves one son, Earl, and one sister, Mrs. Dell Mallory. The funeral was held Wednesday noon, and the Rev. Q. E, Nichols, of the Cooperstown Baptist church, officiated.
