Emil E. Radach, 72, a longtime Cashmere resident, died Friday at his home.

He was born March 11, 1911, in Warden. He moved to Dryden with his family in 1917, where he attended school and worked as a carpenter with his father, Edward Radach.

On Aug. 11, 1935, Radach married Helen Bailey and the couple lived in Seattle and California before returning permanently to Cashmere in 1943.

Radach worked for Harle Brothers Construction and in retirement was involved in remodeling the Cashmere Senior Center.

Radach was a member of the Association of Retired Persons, the Methodist Church, the Wenatchee Elks No. 1186, and Carpenters Local 2205.

Surviving are his wife, Helen, Cashmere; three sons, Tom Radach, Steve Radach and Greg Radach, all of Cashmere; four granddaughters.

Memorial services were held Monday at the Braun Funeral Chapel with Rev. Robert Drew officiating.

Earl Barnes was organist and burial preceded the service at the Cashmere Cemetery.

Those wishing are asked to make memorials to the Children, Orthopedic Hospital or the Cashmere Senior Center.
