Funeral for Angela Leigh Basden Goodwin, 28, of Trinity, will be today at 2 p.m. at Parkway Funeral Home with Sammie Evans officiating. Burial will be in East Lawrence Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Goodwin died Friday, January 10, 1997, as the result of injuries from a traffic accident in Lawrence County. She was born April 21, 1968, in Decatur. She was a graduate of East Lawrence High School, attended The University of Alabama in Huntsville, and received a master's degree in Spanish from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She attended Pleasant Valley Baptist Church, where she served as a Sunday School teacher and was employed by Hartselle City Schools as a Spanish teacher.
She is survived by her husband, Stacy Goodwin; one daughter, Brianna Leigh Goodwin of Trinity; her mother, Susan Basden; her grandmother, Helen Basden of Decatur; and her great grandmother, Maude Basden of Decatur.
Pallbearers will be Steven Terry, Devlon Carroll, Randy Kelley. Homer Jones, Darrin Cleghorn and Jimmy Evans.
