Fred married Annie Wagner on April 16th, 1879; and later married Anna Hale on April 27th, 1892. He worked for the Post Office. He was also a Tyler at the local Mason lodge.

1. Frederick liked to smoke cigars.
2. About the age of 80, Frederick was on his way home from work, riding a trackless trolly. When he stepped off the trolley a car ran over him and broke both his legs. After a long hospital stay he went to live with son Frederick (and Bessie). I remember him in a hospital bed there.
