Bradley Ray Crawford, 58, of Corbin, departed this life on Thursday, June 18, 2009 at his residence.
He was born August 12, 1950, in Rochester, Pennsylvania to Lille Mae Crawford and the late Billy Ray Crawford.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Christy Crawford Marlar.
Survivors include his wife of 18 years, Sharon Crawford; his mother, Lillie Mae Crawford;
one son, Bryan Ray Crawford;
one step-daughter Stacy Chadwell and husband, Alex;
three brothers, Rick Crawford and wife, Nita, Scott Crawford and Phil Crawford all of Corbin;
one sister, Linda Sue Brooks and husband, Wayne, of Williamsburg;
three grandsons, Josh Adams and Aaron Adams of Corbin and Sean Patterson of Barbourville; one granddaughter, Sarah Elizabeth Marlar of North Carolina;
a very special uncle, Rev. Carl Ray Felts, of Corbin;
a special mother-in-law, Opal Cowden and
two special sisters-in-law, Kathy Westerfield and Phyllis Mason, all of Corbin;
several nephews and nieces and a host of family and friends who will greatly miss him.Mr. Crawford was a veteran who had served in the United States Army, a retiree of American Greetings Corporation and a lifelong member of the Dorthae Pentecostal Church. A funeral service honoring the life of Bradley Ray Crawford will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 21, 2009, at Dorthae Pentecostal Church with Pastor Billy Evans and Rev. Sean Disney officiating. Burial will follow in the Resthaven Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Josh Adams, Aaron Adams, Evan Crawford, Connor Crawford, Brandon Crawford, Zachary Westerfield, Korie Burns, and Sean Patterson. The family of Bradley Ray Crawford will receive friends at Dorthae Pentecostal Church from 6-9 p.m. Saturday, June 20, 2009.The Hart Funeral, located at 1011 Master St., Corbin, is in charge of all arrangements.
