Funeral services for Hattie Elizabeth Barwick, 99, of Bolton, N.C., will be held Thursday, Aug. 12, at 11 A.M. at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Donna Bevels officiating.
Interment will follow in Oak City Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors tonight, Aug. 11, from 7 to 8:30 P.M. at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel.
Mrs. Barwick died Aug. 9, 2004, at Columbus County Hospital in Whiteville, N.C. She was a native of Decatur County and a member of the First Church of God in Bainbridge. She attended the Bolton Baptist Church and was a member of the Women's Missionary Union. She was preceded in death by her husband, James B. Barwick.
Survivors include her daughter, Jeanette Barwick Godwin of Bolton, N.C.; six grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and other relatives.
