William was a farmer in Perrysburg from the 1860s to the 1910s. William married Alice Knapp in 1860. His second wife Louisa is buried at Allegany Road Cemetery. His children included Maud who married William Lucas who lived in Silver Creek, Carrie who married Charles Blackney who farmed in Perrysburg, Leo (daughter) who married John Clough who lived in Hanover, and Harvey Sanders who married (1)Flora Merrill and (2) Maud Josephine Green. William and later his son, Harvey, owned the farm to the west of this cemetery on Route 39.
