Pfc. Erin M. Thomas of Kansas graduated from Augusta High School in 2008. He married Kayla Marie Thomas. In addition to his wife he is survived by: daughter, Gracie, parents, Victor and Denise Lange; sister, Amber May; mother and father-in-law, Kim and Norman Hill; and father-in-law, Darryl King. Erin was a loving husband and a devoted father. As an Army soldier, he was assigned to the 501st Brigade Support Battalion, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 1st Armored Division, Fort Bliss. He died at age 20 at Beaumont Army Medical Center after an auto accident.
