MRS. GROVER FEGLEY PASSES
Friends in Cashmere were grieved at the sudden passing of Angie Leo Fegley Thursday morning. She had suffered from dizzy spells and was taken to the hospital Tuesday afternoon for a medical check up.
Memorial services were held March 2 at the First Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Laurence Arksey officiating, Mrs. Gene McManus sang "In The Garden" and "Beautiful Isle of Somewhere", accompanied by Earl Barnes. Pallbearers were Leonard Berg, Donald Fegley. Roscoe Bowden, Eugene Elledge, Raymond Barthol and Warren Schroeder. Concluding services and interment were the Cashmere Cemetery. Brauns Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Fegley was born March 8, 1893, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Gilliam at Lyons, Nebraska, She was married to Grover Fegley April 13, 1911 at Sidney, Nebraska. They homesteaded in Wyoming before coming to Cashmere to 1934.
They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary nearly 2 years ago. She was an active member of the Presbyterian Church and the Gleaners Circle. She enjoyed painting scenes and still life as a hobby.
Surviving are her husband, three children, John Fegley and Mrs. Dean (Alice) Clark both of Cashmere and Mrs. Wilbur (Beatrice) Limkeman of Wenatchee; 7 grandchildren and one great grandchild; a brother, R. H. Gilliam, San Fernando, Calif.
