Eugene Orville Bales Sr. of San Bernardino, a resident for 55 years, died September 7, 1984 at the age of 83. He was retired and had been the Supervisor of Operations for San Bernardino City Schools. He was survived by his wife, Constance, two sons, Eugene Bales Jr. of New Mexico and Richard B. Bales of Bishop,. eight grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, three sisters, Mildred Garner, Marion Rogers and Evelyn Smith, all of Canada, two brothers, Harold Bales of Canada and Hugh Bales of Oregon. Graveside services are set for 9 a.m. on Monday at Montecito Memorial Park with Mark B. Shaw in charge of the arrangements.
