FARMERVILLE [Union Parish], LA—Funeral services for Mr. Loy Alford, 90, of Farmerville, LA, will be Thursday, December 30, 2004 at 3:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Farmerville. Interment will be at the Springhill Cemetery in Oakland, Louisiana…. Arrangements are under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home of Farmerville.
Mr. Alford was born a member of the First Baptist Church of Farmerville. He was a deacon and a member of Men's Sunday School Class.
He had retired from Alford's & Bob's Tire Shop in El Dorado [Union Co.], AR.
Mr. Alford was preceded in death by his wife Velma Alford and two brothers.
Survivors include: nieces, nephews, and three sister-in-laws: Mildred Brantley, Etta Mae Traylor, Patricia Brantley and special friends Shorty and Lorene Aulds.
Pallbearers will be Lynton Ginn, Don Wilkes, Shorty Aulds, Gary Albritton, Jay McCallum and Zeke Tettleton….
