The night of the fateful accident,
Betty, (age 81) had gone to dinner
with her husband, Herb. It was an
exciting evening as they were
preparing for the Christmas parade.
A member of their family was to have
been featured in the event and they
wanted a good view of the festivities.

The Siskowski couple were
crossing Main St. when they were
struck by a vehicle. They were taken
to a local hospital where, they
eventually died from their sustained
injuries.

Herb died on a Wednesday;
Betty followed on Friday.
This seems a 'lovely pair of deaths'
- as they were truly a devoted
Husband & Wife.

The Siskowskis were a sterling couple.

The long time members of FIRST BAPTIST
CHURCH had a double funeral service.

* * A PRAYER FOR MRS. S. * *

Heavenly Father,
YOU have not made us for darkness
and death, but for life with YOU forever.
Without YOU, we have no hope;
With YOU, we have nothing to fear.
Speak to us now, YOUR words of
'Eternal Life'.
Lift us from anxiety and guilt,
to the light and peace of YOUR presence,
Set the glory of YOUR love before us,
through Jesus Christ, our Lord."
