She was born August 3, 1920, in Lorain, and was a lifelong resident of the city.
She attended Clearview Schools.
Mrs. Forman was skilled in needlework and crocheted many clothing items that were donated to needy children and their families through the Salvation Army. She enjoyed reading, cooking and baking, especially pies.
She was a member of St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church, Elyria Township.
Survivors include her sons Frank Forman Jr. and Steve Forman, both of Sheffield Township; daughters Bertha Knisley of Sheffield township and Beverly Collins of Wakeman. Tow grandchildren; brothers William Solomon of Lorain and Frank Solomon of Sheffield Township; sister, Margaret Trautwein of Lorain. She was preceded in death by her husband Frank Solomon Sr., in 1994; parents Michael and Mary (nee Kroycovich) Solomon, brothers John, Michael Andrew and George; and sisters Anna Yuhasz and Josephine Solomon.
