She was born Oct. 30, 1904 to Lon and Carrie Ellen McAtee Morrell in the Indian Territory of Oklahoma.
She married A.M. "Cub" Thomas in 1925 in Santa Anna, Calif. They moved to Harmon County in 1932 and farmed in the Metcalf community. Addie Mae was very active in
the Brownlow Nazarene Church for many years before she moved to Hollis in 1979 where she became active in the Nazarene Church. She belonged to the La Casa Farm
Women's Club and Veterans of Foreign War's Auxiliary and was a Gold Star Mother.
She is survived by her daughter Edith Marie Royal and husband Darrel of Austin, Texas; son Al Thomason, Jr. of Royce City, Texas; four grandchildren and seven
great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband A.M. "Cub" Thomason in 1990 and one brother, John T. Morrell.
