Marion Gallagher,85, of Worcester, MA died in City Hospital. She worked as a clerk for the former Denholm & McKay Co., the boys department of Filene's and in the coffee shops at Fairlawn and City Hospitals.
At the time of her death, Miss Gallagher left a sister, Sister Mary Loreto of the Sisters of Mercy, Worcester, four nephews, the Rev. Paul J. Tougas, pastor of St. Mary of the Hills Church, Boylston, Mark F. Tougas of Worcester, James J. Gallagher, a Worcester police sergeant and Master Sgt. Michael Gallagher stationed at Maguire Air Force Base in New Jersey, and several grandnieces and grandnephews.
She was born in Worcester, daughter of James A. and Elizabeth V. (Leonard) Gallagher.
Miss Gallagher was a member of the Notre Dame Alumni Association.
The funeral was held from O'Connor Brothers, 592 Park Ave., with a Mass in St. Andrew the Apostle Church, 5 Spaulding St. Burial was in St. John's Cemetery.
