Anthony 'Tony' Ivins Jarvis, 88, of Yuma, AZ passed away on August 30, 2008.

Tony was born January 24, 1920 in Monticello, Utah. He lived during his childhood in Mexico. Tony has lived in Yuma, AZ for the past five year and prior to that lived in Heber, AZ for 25 years. Tony was a medic/corpsman during World War II in both the Navy and Marines serving in the Guadalcanal campaign.

Tony is survived by his wife Mary Jarvis of Yuma, his five children Ivins Burk Jarvis (Tempe), Rodney Jarvis (Phoenix), Fatha Lineweaver (Hurricane, UT), Michael
Jarvis (Yuma), and Tonya Jarvis (Yuma), 22 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, a sister Annie Osborn and two brothers Warren Jarvis & Andy Jarvis.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, September 6th at 11am at the LDS Church at 4300 W. 16th Street with a viewing at 9am. Mortuary services are being provided by Yuma Mortuary. Burial will be at Desert Lawn Cemetery in Yuma.

Donations in lieu of flowers to Yuma 4th Ward LDS Church missionary fund.
