Richard R. Hufford, 79, Rossville, died in Milner Health Care Center there at 1:45 p.m. Sept. 12, 1984.
Mr. Hufford graduated from Rossville High School in 1922 and attended Wabash College.
He had been a floor sander for 20 years and a building contractor for 20 years.
He was born Dec. 29, 1904 in Rossville to Walter and Grizella Robison Hufford. He married Florence Biggs in 1928 and she survives.
Also surviving are two sons, David of Rossville and Arthur of Danville, three daughters, Mrs. Jack (Virginia) Miller of Columbia City, Mrs. Robert (Norma) Reed of Scottsboro, Ala., and Mrs. Gary (Linda) Hodgen of Norfolk, Va, a sister, Catherine Shepard of Rossville, two brothers, Robert of Rossville and James of Alexandria, La; 18 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. A son preceded him in death.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Brown Funeral home, Rossville, with the Rev. Thomas Thomas officiating. Burial will be in Rossville Cemetery. Friends may call after 5 p.m. tomorrow.
