Mrs. Loveann Prunty Dead
Wednesday morning about six o'clock, death came in the midst of our city and took as its victim Mrs. Loveann Prunty, an aged, respected and much loved citizen. About ten days prior to her death she was stricken with paralysis, and up to the time of her death she was unconscious. She is survived by eight sons as follows: John and Lee of Oxford, O. J., Dr. Shirley and A. D. of Parkersburg; Dr. Frank of Belpre; Wilson of Waverly, and W. B. of Middlebourne. Four daughters and her husband preceded her to the better world. She was a sister of the late Roy P. Wilson and an aunt of Dr. J. B. Wilson. She leaves a host of relatives and friends to mourn their loss. All the sons were present at the funereal [sic] which was conducted by Rev. Scott of Parkersburg, at the home on Thursday morning assisted by Rev. Thos. Zumbrunnen. The latter accompanied the relatives and the body to White Oak, where interment was made Thursday afternoon. W. F. Sill, undertaker had charge of the burial.
The News wishes to extend its profound sympathy to the sons and other relatives in this their sad hour of bereavement."
