Mr. Bowman, 51, died Aug. 21, 2003, at Riverwood Medical Center in Plaquemine, La. He was born in Brookhaven on Sept. 8, 1951, to Clifford D. Bowman and Aleene Russell Bowman.
He was a teacher at Copiah-Lincoln Junior College for four years. He taught one year and had two years graduate study at University of Mississippi. He was a member of the Baptist faith.
Preceding him in death was his father.
Survivors are his mother, Aleene Russell Bowman of Brookhaven; his aunts Irene Thompson of New Hebron, Nell McGraw of Panama City, FL., Jimmie Collins of Monticello, and Elsie Bowman and Betty Ann Evans, both of Brookhaven; and several cousins.
