Danial B. Mooney, 66, of Normal, Ill., formerly of New Albany, Oh., passed away at 4:50 a.m. on Friday, June 19, 2009 at OSF Saint Joseph Medical Center in Bloomington, Ill. He was born June 4, 1943 in Mineral Wells, Tex., son of Buell C. and Juanita Mae Reed Mooney. He married his wife, Sandra, on May 31, 2003 in Columbus, Oh. She survives in Normal, Ill. Also surviving are two daughters, Cherie (Gary) Look of Grove City, Oh. and Shirley MacCutcheon of Cambridge, Oh.; seven grandchildren; one brother, D.J. Mooney of Hilliard, Oh.; one half-brother, Shelton Mooney of Virginia Beach, Va.; and one half-sister, Harriet Gunter of Patriot, Oh. He was preceded in death by his parents and his daughter Carrie. Memorial services will be held at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, June 24, 2009 at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Westerville, Oh. EAST LAWN FUNERAL HOME in Bloomington, Ill. has provided cremation services.
