Billy Love, 91, of Columbus died at 12:20 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 17, 2005, at Silver Oaks Health Campus.
Mr. Love was a tool grinder at Cummins Engine Co. for 36 years, retiring in 1979. Also a shoe cobbler for 25 years, he worked for Yellow Front Shoe Shop and owned Love's Shoe Shop in East Columbus.
He was a member of Wesley Chapel Evangelical Methodist Church.
The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Myers-Reed Dignity Memorial Chapel on 25th Street with the Revs. Donald Byrnes and Jack McMahon officiating. Calling will be from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday and from 9:30 a.m. until service time Monday. Inurnment will be at Garland Brook Mausoleum.

Born in French Lick June 19, 1914, Mr. Love was the son of Earl and Amanda Lashbrook Love. He married Hazel F. Jackman Dec. 6, 1934, at New Albany.
Survivors include his wife; sons, Billy Joe (Neosha) Love of Hartsville and Robert E. (Doris) Love of Fairfield Bay, Ark.; a daughter, Janet Sue Wilson of San Jose, Calif.; half brothers, Tim Love of California and Tony Love; a half sister, Carolyn Harris of Mitchell; grandchildren, Gregory Wilson of Gilbert, Ariz., Jon and Keith Wilson of San Jose, Kim Humes of Columbus, Mike Love of Jackson, Miss., Tammy Cagle of Monroe, La., Troy Love of Columbus and April and Chris Love of Hartsville; 13 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Harold Love; and a sister, Margie Hotovy.
