Ruth passed away April 28, 2000 near Valliant, Oklahoma. She was born July 2, 1934 in Pershing, Oklahoma to William Tinnin Blythe and Eula (Smith) Blythe. Ruth retired after 25 years with Weyerhauser as scheduling supervisor and was a member of the Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Davis in 1972.
Survivors include: sons, Jamie Davis of Valliant, OK and Jon Davis of Texarkana, TX; daughters, Janie Oney of Valliant, OK, Jan Collins of Fort Towson, OK and Joye Hylton of Red Oak, TX; sister, Connie Robison of Denison, TX; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Following services interment was in Fort Towson Cemetery under the direction of Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral Home of Hugo, OK.
