Leora was born 18 Jan, 1925 to Leroy Cohoe and Pearletta Harville. She was born in Ellenboro, Grant Co., Wisconsin.

She graduated from Mt. Hope School in June of 1939. She married Walter A. Millin on 9 Jun 1939 in Dubuque Iowa. Her sister and brother in law Florence and Kenny Houghton stood up with them.

Leora and Walter had 6 children. They lost the oldest child Dorothy when she was only 29 years old. This loss was extrememly hard on them for years.

Leora was a very talented person. She loved working outside in her flower gardens. She loved sewing, needlework and painting.

She loved typing and volunteered for the Big Brothers Big Sisters in Niles once a week for several years.

Leora loved to cook and was always feeding friends and relatives.

She was a quiet person but you always knew what she thought about something.

Many years of smoking had a bad effect on her lungs. She passed away at the hospital in Niles on 30 May 1991.
