Lawrence E. Priest, 92, Klamath Falls, died Wednesday in Klamath Falls.

He was born Dec. 3, 1889, in Bend, South Dakota.

He came to Oregon in 1910 and to Klamath Falls in 1923.

He worked as a carpenter for his uncle in Portland before working as a mechanic in Klamath Falls until his retirement in 1962.

Mr. Priest was a charter member of the Eagles Lodge. His hobbies were fishing, hunting and rock collecting.

Survivors include his wife Emily of Klamath Falls; daughter, Mary Bellon of Klamath Falls; son, Norman of Bend; brothers, Eldon and Irving of San Francisco, CA; several nieces and nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and four brothers.
