Pearl L. Grisvold, 79, a local resident since 1920, died in Klamath Falls, Wednesday January 20, 1982.

She was born to William and Harriet Renie in Washington. The family later moved to Weed, Calif., where she attended high school.

She graduated from high school in Klamath Falls after the family moved here in 1920. She met her future husband, Herman Grisvold, while working in the office at Pelican Bay Lumber and Box Co.

In 1924, they were married in Weed. She later worked for Klamath Heating Co. and for accountants Paul Mathews and Jane Pinelli.

Mr. Grisvold died in 1978.

Mrs. Grisvold was a member of Stewart-Lenox Baptist Church and Zuleima Temple Daughters of the Nile. She was a 40 year member of of Aloha Chapter No. 61 Order of Eastern Star and was active in the organization until two years ago when poor health slowed her activities. She was treasurer for 13 years.

Survivors include her nieces, Janel and Janet Renie, Los Angeles; and numerous cousins in Canada and in the Midwest.
