Roger W. Easton, 81, of Seville, passed away Friday, June 19, 2009. He was born in 1927 to Leonard and Margaret Bell Easton. He lived all his life in the Seville area.
He is a 5th generation dairy farmer, (operating the farm) established by his ancestors in 1835. He was a member of the farm bureau, a 4-H advisor for 10 years, Medina county Sportsman League, County Crop Surveyor, a judge of numerous pie baking contest and enjoyed square dancing.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Sandra (Waterhouse), of Seville; daughters, Margaret Easton of Seville, Sallee and Keith Knapp of North Ridgeville; grandchildren, Shelby Margaret Knapp and Jarrett Easton Knapp.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother and sister-in law, Robert and Irene Easton; and brother Lyman Jay Easton.
Friends may call Thursday, June 25, 2009 from 6 to 8 P.M. at the Armstrong-Waite Funeral Home, at St. Rt. #3, Seville. Memorial services will be held Friday, June 26, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Interment will be at Mound Hill Cemetery. [The Gazette, Medina Ohio, 23 Jun 2009].
