Mrs. Henderson was a member of the Mt. View Mennonite Church and was the widow of James William Henderson. She was born Oct. 13, 1879, in Augusta County, daughter of the late John H. and Nannie Snead Good.
Survivors include three sons, Jake Henderson and Willie Henderson, both of Stuarts Draft, and Harmon Henderson, Lyndhurst; two daughters, Miss Hattie Henderson, Lyndhurst, and Mrs. Cecil Rowe, Waynesboro; two stepsons, Robert Henderson and Harry Henderson, both of Lyndhurst; four stepdaughters, Mrs. Shoma Demastus, Greenfield; Mrs. Nora Drumheller, Waynesboro; Mrs. Kate Hulvey, Washington, D. C., and Mrs. Chattie Truslow, Newport News; two sisters, Mrs. Wallace Coffey and Mrs. Macy Arnold, both of Lyndhurst; twelve grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and a number of step-grandchildren.
Body will remain at the Etter Funeral Home. The body will be placed in the Mt. View Mennonite Church at 10 a.m. Friday where funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. by the Rev. Paul R. Barnhart, assisted by the Rev. Frank Hatte. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Paul Brydge, Vance Brydge, Oscar Brydge, Silas Brydge, George Brydge and Amos Brydge.
Flowerbearers will be Mrs. Henderson's grandchildren.
