Mary Blanche (Mayme), daughter of Albert & Lydia (Babb) McCreary was born March 4, 1882 in York, Nebraska and moved to Albia, Iowa with her parents where she lived from 1885 to 1930.
She first married Thomas Holland McGill on June 14, 1898 in Albia, Iowa and they became the parents of six children: Larena, Thomas, Eva, Margaret, Kenneth and an infant who preceded her in death.
The marriage ended in divorce and in about 1917 she married John Henry Jones in Monroe Co., Iowa and they had one daughter, Beulah.
After John's death, Mayme moved to Crook, Colorado where she met and married David Burton Stunkard in 1931.
Mayme had been a resident of Logan County for over 20 years before she died at her home suddenly, after an illness of one day, on December 11, 1950.
The funeral was held at the Radford Funeral Chapel with burial in Riverside Cemetery. Survivors were her husband; her six living children; a half brother,Lester Lowder & half sister, Ollie Montgomery.
