RUSSELL ITEMS

The many friends in Russell were grieved to learn of the death of Anna Lucretia Hancock, which occured at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Hancock, Nov. 2, 1906, of pneumonia, at the age of 12 years, 8 months and 13 days.

Funeral services were held Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Trinity church, conducted by Rev. Wood, after which interment took place in the Russell cemetery.

Anna was a bright, ambitious child, loved by all who knew her. During her illness she would call for a hymn, her favorite being "Jesus Loves Me." She seemed to realize her condition and although suffering intensely, was patient up to the last.

The entire community extend heartfelt sympathy to the sorrowing father and mother, brothers and sisters.
