MARY MILLER CROFTON

Mary Alice Elizabeth, daughter of Franklin and Elmina Miller was born in Christain co., Ill., on August 9, 1870 and passed away March 9, 1947 at the home of her brother, Roy, near Dorchester, Nebraska at the age of 46 years and 7 months.
At the age of seven years she came with her parents to the vicinity of Dorchester where she spent the remained of the life except for two years on a homestead at Wheeler, Washington.
She was united in marriage to John Crofton on March 11, 1909 at Wilber.
Mrs. Crofton was a member of the Dorchester Methodist church for over 31 years and held her membership there at the time of her death.
Surviving are her husband of Dorchester, three brothers: Melvin M. of Imperial, Nebraska, Myron S. of San Jose, Calif., and Roy F. of Dorchester, three step-children, Mrs. Ed Weber of Friend, Ed Crofton of St. Louis and John Vernon Crofton of Dorchester, eight nephews and ten nieces and my other relatives and friends.
