Parelee McPherson Ragsdale died Thursday, June 18, 2009, in Temple at the age of 92.
Funeral: 10 a.m. Monday at Lonesome Dove Baptist Church in Southlake, where she was a lifetime member. Interment: Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park in Colleyville. Visitation: The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at J.E. Foust & Sons Funeral Directors in Grapevine.
Mrs. Ragsdale was born in Grapevine and was a resident of the Southlake/Grapevine area until 2004, when she moved to Rogers for the remaining five years of her life.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Leamon R. Ragsdale, on July 15, 1988; her parents; five brothers; and three sisters.
Survivors: Daughters and sons-in-laws, Peggy and Billy Cate of Bonham, Vontilla Sellers of Mesquite, Carolyn and Lanny Tate of Decatur and Sue and Winston Beam of Rogers; brothers, sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Kelly McPherson of Justin, Robert and Betty McPherson of Ponder, Covey McPherson of Arlington, Johnny Tate of Southlake and Wanda Hodges of Grapevine; 15 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; and numerous other family and friends.
