He was born on August 14, 1944 and had been a life-long resident of the area.
Steve was most recently employed in the maintenance department at Lorain County Community College and retired from that position in 1993. He had previously worked as a rigger for more than twenty years at the American Ship Building Company.
Remembered as a generous and caring individual by all who knew him, his hobbies included fishing and gardening.
Survivors include his wife Simone, brother frank Forman,Jr.
of Sheffield Township, sisters Bertha Knisley (husband John) of Sheffield Township, and Beverly Collins (husband Donald) of Wakeman, niece Victoria Lance (husband Eric) of North Olmsted, and nephew Jon Knisley, Jr., of Sheffield Township.
He was preceded in death by his father Frank Forman, Sr.,in 1994 and his mother Mary Forman (nee Solomon) in 2002.
