Mrs. Golley was a native of Binghamton. She was a nurses aide for the past 20 years with several area nursing homes. She was a graduate of Newark Valley High School.
Surviving are her husband, James H.; four sons, Ken Forbes of Morgan City, La., James T. Golley of Homer and Charles and William Golley, both of Cortland; three daughters, Kathleen Golley of Homer, Christina Sniffen of Louisiana and Kelly Platt of Homer; six brothers, Fancis and Kenneth Snavely, both of Newark Valley, Ernest and James Snavely, both of Stafford, Va., Robert of Louisiana and Richard of Owego; four sisters, Marie Beeman of Virgil, Grace Snavely of Binghamton and Elaine Ellis and Betty Harris, both of Owego; 28 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Wright-Beard Funeral Home. Burial will be in Virgil Cemetery.
Calling hours will be 7 to 9 p.m. today and noon to 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, 9 Lincoln Ave.
