Denise L. Demyan (nee Zipp), age 56, of Lorain, died Wednesday April 15, 2009 at the home of her sister and primary care-giver following an extended illness.
Denise was born in Amherst on December 7, 1952 and had been a life-long resident of Lorain County. She was a 1971 graduate of Marion L. Steele High School. She was employed as a sales associate for both Hills and Ames Departmnet Stores and had previously worked in the Dietary Department of Oberlin College. A parishioner of St. Nicholas Byzantine Rite Catholic Church, Mrs. Demyan enjoyed flower and vegetable gardening, boating, and fishing,. Additional interests included raising Arabian Horses and spending time with her grandchildren.
