SUMRALL William "Tom" passed away Oct. 8, 1998 after a short illness. He was born Feb. 12, 1912 in Waco, Texas to Joseph & Nora Lilles Sumrall, one of seven children. He married Juanita L. Childress Dec. 24, 1941. They had one child, Linda Joyce. After serving in the Army during World War II they established a home in O'dell, Texas where Tom farmed. They moved to Midwest City in 1948 where Tom lived until his death. He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers, 2 sisters and his wife of 43years. He was employed at Tinker Air Force Base until an early medical retirement due to a war injury. Tom loved to go fishing and he was an avid gardener as well as a great domino player. He loved his family and enjoyed visiting with his many friends. He is survived by his daughter, Linda Pitts and son-in-law, Wayne Pitts of Midwest City; one sister, Carmen Currin of Vernon, Texas; two granddaughters, Kelly Wade & husband, Bruce Wade of Midwest City and Lori Pitts of Moore; one grandson, Michael Pitts& wife, Julieanne of Oklahoma City; two great grandsons, Zachary and Ryan Parker Wade, one great-granddaughter, Nicole Wade and another great-granddaughter is expected in Nov. to Michael & Julieanne. He was a loving father and grandfather and will be missed greatly.
