Lon W. Allen, 81, a resident of the Central hotel, died at 4 a.m. Saturday in Memorial hospital after two months illness with paralysis. He was a native of Allen-co and was a retired state highway department employe. He was a member of the Borrowed Time club.

Surviving are a son-in-law, J. E. Zimmerman, 714 N. Metcalf-st, and several nephews and nieces.

Rev. F. Earl Roe, pastor of the Trinity M. E. church, will conduct funeral services at 2 p.m. Monday from the Davis-Miller and Son Cathedral chapel, with burial in Allentown cemetery. The body will remain at the funeral home.
