Norma Boydell Purcell, 81, passed away on Tuesday, June 16, 2009, at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson, MS.
Visitation will begin 10 am, Saturday, June 20, 2009, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. A Funeral Mass will follow visitation at 12 noon. Interment will be at Hope Mausoleum in New Orleans, LA.
Mrs. Purcell was born on September 3, 1927, in New Orleans, LA. She is the only child of Clothilde Dartigalongue and James George Boydell. She was a lifelong resident of New Orleans.
While residing in Jackson, MS with her daughter and son-in-law, she attended Holy Savior Catholic Church in Clinton, MS until her passing.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Patricia Ann Purcell.
She is survived by her daughter, son-in-law, and grandson.
