William Harold Rentz
William Harold Rentz of Frederica, DE, passed away on Tuesday, June 16, 2009 at Bayhealth at Milford Memorial Hospital. He was 68.
Mr. Rentz was born the 5th of 10 children in Frederica, DE, the son of the late Carl Rentz, Sr. and Edith Stubbs Rentz. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a purchasing agent for Kraft Foods for 35 years. He was on the Board of Trustees for Barratts Chapel Cemetery and a member of the Camden-Wyoming Moose Lodge #203. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and watching NASCAR RACES.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Carl, Jr., Charles, James and Richard and Sister, Carol Steele. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Anna Holliday Rentz; his brother, Donald and wife Mary Alice of Felton; sisters, Janet Kanoy of Felton, Kay Davidson and her husband Phil of Frederica and Lois Saunders and her husband Dale of Harrington; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, June 20, 2009 at 1 pm in the chapel of BERRY-SHORT FUNERAL HOME, Main St., Felton, DE, where friends may call after 11 am.
Interment will be in Barratts Chapel Cemetery, Frederica.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to: Trinity U.M. Church, P.O. Box 4, Frederica, DE 19946.
