Married Travis Russell Durham in Winchester, England August 5, 1943. She was a nurse in WWII. Travis was enlisted in the United States Army Medical Corps and they met on a ship for England. Gladys was from Arden, Wisconsin. Travis Durham was a partner in Durham's Prescription Pharmacy with his father, L.C. "Jake" Durham and was fatally slashed in the throat by two men who were robbing the pharmacy of drugs and money.
Survivors: Son, Russell Len Durham and wife, Jane; three grandsons; and nieces and nephews.
