Benson also married Texia Riles (Ryles) in Greene County, Tennessee May 25, 1884. They had 8 children before she died around 1902. She and Benson were living in Cocke County, Tennessee in 1900 (Census). I was unable to locate her resting place.

Texia was the daughter of James and Hattie Ryles.

Benson and Texia Arnett named one of their daughters Hattie (11/4/1899 to 10/6/1987) after Texia's mother. Hattie Arnett married a Pierson and died in Los Angeles County, California. Thanks.
