Port Haywood Woman Dies

Mathews, July 11 - Mrs. Mattie Ransone Hudgins, 55, of Port Haywood died today at Horn Harbor Nursing Home following a lingering illness.

She is survived by her husband, Marvin W. Hudgins and one son, Webster R. Hudgins, both of Port Haywood; two sisters, Mrs. C. W. Johnson of Gloucester County and Mrs. J. C. Harding of Norfolk.

The funeral procession will leave the Foster Funeral Home at Mathews Thursday afternoon at 2. Graveside services will be held in St. Paul's Cemetery, Susan, at 2:30 p.m. The Rev. Robert A. Cooper will officiate.

Pallbearers will be Franklin Smith, Lester Hudgins, Emmet Hudgins, Homer Hudgins, William L. Johnson and Charlie Brooks.
