PLEASANTDALE WOMEN ATTEND LAST RITES FOR HOWARD BUSH
PLEASANTDALE, June 25 – Mr. and Mrs. J.M. Murphy of this vicinity and Mr. and Mrs. Harry Williams of Dayton attended the funeral of Mrs. Williams' and Mrs. Murphy's father, Howard Bush at King Valley Tuesday afternoon.
Mr. Bush who was 79, died June 19 at a Corvallis hospital. He had been ill since January 3 and had undergone two operations, the last one due to his weakened condition and his age resulted in his death. He was born in Clay county, Mo., but came to Oregon with his parents when only seven years of age and for over 50 years had lived in Kings Valley. Mr. and Mrs. Bush celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary six years ago. He is survived by his widow and one son, Carl Bush of King Valley, and two daughters both of Dayton, five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon in the King Valley church with burial in the cemetery near there.
