Mrs. T. J. Annis

Mrs T. J. Annis died Sunday, April 30, 1905, at nine o'clock p.m., at the home of her son, Judson Annis, in Mitchell, South Dakota, at the advanced age of 87 years. Mrs. Annis was the oldest of six children born to Mr. and Mrs. John Arnold and was united in marriage at the age of twenty-one years with Thomas Jason Annis, of Thetford, Orange county, Vermont. To this union was born six children, four of whom survive to mourn the loss of a kind and affectionate mother, as follows; Judson Adrian, of Mitchel, South Dakota; Mrs. Lucinda Augesona Wade, of this city; Mrs. Elma Rowena Conger, of this city; and John D. Annis, of Sand Creek, this county. Mrs. Annis was a resident of Prairie township for many years and moved to Mitchel, last fall to take up her residence in the home of her son, Judson Annis. Mrs. Annis was well and favorably know here, and her death is sincerely mourned by a host of friends. The remains were brought here Wednesday, (to-day) and the funeral will be held from the home of her daughter, Mrs. E. J. Conger, Thursday morning at 11:00 o'clock, Rev. A. W. Caul of the Baptist church officiating.
