Wayne C. Bellaman, P.E. December 16, 1938 - May 27, 2009 Wayne C. Bellaman, P.E., 70, of Milesburg, died Wednesday, May 27, 2009, at Mount Nittany Medical Center. Born Dec. 16, 1938 to the late Ammon J. and Verna E. Strohecker Belleman, in Lebanon. He married the former, Nancy K. Lutz, July 11, 1959. She survives at home. Wayne was a graduate of Penn State where he received his degree in Civil Engineering and became a Professional Engineer. He was a civil engineer with Wilbur Smith and Associates of Columbia, S.C. and Sweetland Engineering of State College. Throughout his professional career he had the opportunity to assist in storm and wastewater master plans for communities throughout Pennsylvania, Los Angeles, and Egypt to ensure sustainable water quality. He was a member of the Milesburg Baptist Church. He was also a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and loved playing golf, bowling, and spending time with his grandchildren. In addition to his wife he is survived by one son, Michael D. Bellaman, of Chicago, Ill.; one daughter, Michelle D. Bellaman, of Santa Monica, Calif.; one brother, Lee C. Belleman, of Cedarville, Ohio; and three grandchildren, Campbell R. Bellaman, Colby E. Bellaman, and Connor M. Bellaman. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, Ammon G. Belleman; and one sister, Jane M. Belleman. Friends will be received 6-8 p.m., Friday, May 29, 2009, at Dean K. Wetzler Funeral Home, Milesburg. Funeral services, 2 p.m., Saturday, May 30, 2009, at Milesburg Baptist Church, Milesburg, with Pastor B. Jeffrey Trawinski, Rev. Dr. James E. Lutz, and Rev. Lee C. Belleman. Burial will be at Advent Cemetery, Boggs Twp., Centre Co. Memorial contributions may be made to the Milesburg Baptist Church, PO Box 821, Milesburg, PA 16853.
