Laura was one of the most loving kind hearted people ever known. She and her husband, Jesse Braddock, worked very hard on their farm in Thorncreek Township, Whitley County, Indiana, during the great depression. They managed to raise all 8 of their children during the depression and no one lacked in food.
After her husband died, in about 1974, she moved to town (Columbia City).She is well known with her many grandchildren by giving them quarters so they could go to the little Stop And Go store on the corner to buy candy.
There isnt enough space nor time to list all the good memories I and many others have with Grandma Braddock.
Many times I saw her sitting at her table reading her Bible multiple times a day and praying. She didnt have much money but that didnt stop her from giving to the needy, she expecially had the desire to give to the hungry needy children.

-Betty (married to Frank Deer
-Dean (Married to Pat Bowman)

-Bonney (Married to Harold Egner who was a brother to Forrest Egner)
