Dynda Escobedo, known as "Dee," died at the age of 49, at the St. John Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma, due to an Autoimmune Disease that affected her lungs. She was a lifelong resident of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, the daughter of Carol Joyce (Patrick) Hitchcock and John Loyd Hitchcock. She graduated from Copan High School, in Copan, Oklahoma, in 1977. she later attended Beauty College. She married Daniel Escobedo Jr. in Copan, Oklahoma, on October 12th, 1991. She was employed in the Financial Industry most her life, and currently was the Financial Manager of the Courtesy Loan, where she worked for the past ten years. She enjoyed playing cards and family time. She was preceded in death by her father, John Hitchcock, her step-father, Robert McElyea, her brother, Theodore Patrick Hitchcock, and a special friend, Tina Hickman. She is survived by: Her husband of 17 years, Donald Escobedo, of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, a daughter, Hollie Joleen Veach, of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, her mother, Carol McElyea, of Copan, Oklahoma, two sisters, Deniece Bush of Copan, Oklahoma, and Jona Martin, of Copan, Oklahoma, and one grandchild.
